I played 2 new songs from the forthcoming album, 'Good Good Day', 'Same Thing Over and Over' (their debut appearance on radio!!) and then one favourite Irish cover of my choice.... I chose 'A Pair of Brown Eyes' by The Pogues. Love it..
4EB is a Brisbane community radio station that specialises to suit people who speak a language other than English as well as those who have a keen interest in culture. It is Brisbane's only multilingual radio station broadcasting 24/7 'Sharing the World' in over 50 different languages including a variety of programs in English. Their Mission Statement is "To provide the communities of Brisbane with a comprehensive ethnic broadcasting service of a high standard, whilst at all times promoting the principles of neutrality, independence, democracy, diversity & participation at all levels of multicultural radio." They are a great bunch, and like most community stations, they are mainly run by volunteers wjo do it for that thing that keeps the world going.. Love
