Great weekend of singer songwriter and Irish songs coming up at The Darcy Arms, Friday 8th - Mick McHugh, and Sat 9th May - ARIA nominated Sarah Calderwood. Both from 7pm, with no cover charge.Sarah is an Australian singer-songwriter flautist who unites classic with contemporary folk. Sheplays in Súnas, an Australian Celtic folk group,who've release two highly successful albums, Breath Away from Shadow (2008) and Celtic Road (2011), which charted in the ARIA Classical Top 10. In 2012, she released her album As Night Falls for which she was nominated for the ARIA Music Awards in its 26th edition for the category "Best World Music Album". In 2013, she played flute and contributed vocals to The Waterboys, a traditional music collective.Two great night's of music guaranteed : )D'arcy Arms
