Got to meet another one of my biggest Irish songwriting heroes Glen Hansard. For those who don't know him, he was in the movie "Once"...won an oscar for the theme song "Falling Slowly"...& has bn a huge influence on me. He jumped up and sang The Auld Triangle. Class stuff ! I haven't seen him play in few years...he was an inspiration for me when I started playing 12 years ago...and he was just as big an inspiration...if not more to see him perform with electrifying energy to being able to hear a pin drop during a slow number to getting the whole crowd involved.
