ABC Kids presents ‘Celtic Music for Children - Nursery Rhymes’ by Mick McHugh.
A five track recording of classic Nursery Rhymes with a Celtic twist!
The EP is a collection of fun-lovin’ classic Nursery Rhymes ‘Michael Finnegan’, ‘Homeward Bound’, ‘Miss Molly’ and ‘Old King Cole’, blended with Traditional Celtic instruments Banjo, Accordion, Flute and Fiddle for a toe-tapping sing-a-long experience for all the family to enjoy. The EP also features a moving rendition of Scottish anthem ‘Loch Lomond’ set to Uilleann Pipes and string quartet.
All songs have been reimagined by the Irish/Australian Troubadour Mick McHugh, founding member of the hugely successful band ‘The Gathering’ and produced by ARIA award winning Damien Leith.
‘Celtic Music for Children - Nursery Rhymes’ is a follow up to ABC Kids-Mick McHugh 2022 release ‘Celtic Music for Children - Traditional Irish and Scottish Folk Songs’ which has amassed 3 million streams on Spotify, featuring the hit song ‘The Rattlin Bog’.
‘Celtic Music for Children - Nursery Rhymes’ will be available across all digital platforms on Friday 14th March 2025 ahead of St. Patrick’s Day - a contemporary re-imagining of Celtic songs for the young, and young at heart alike.
